In which something almost happens but doesn’t and we are all reminded why teenage girls are obnoxious.  Teenage boys are not present and so cannot show to their advantage how equally obnoxious they can be.  (Nor to be fair are any older people of either gender there to show their own rather distasteful sides…but in any event teenage girls are there and are being obnoxious.  To be fair we are all obnoxious and deserve to be mocked. Be patient I’m sure I will mock you soon enough.)

Go To Chapter 10 - Deprivation

In which Eudora plays with snakes and Claudia plays dead rather unsuccessfully.  Other than this little is accomplished.  But really what can be accomplished trapped in an underground mansion designed to either kill you or drive you mad (though I suspect the creator intended both rather than an “either or” situation.)

Not so many links really.  I am very misleading.

Tricksy.

A site just added my novel as a link.  They look like a cool place- just a site that links to all sorts of diffrent online novels.  So if you go there you really will get multiple links.  I'm only giving you one for now.  Because I'm lazy.  I think that's a good quality.

In which Claudia, delightful little Claudia, plays the piano and falls in love.  Only one of which is evident to the outside world.  Of course being who she is, Claudia plays perfectly acceptable music (neither too good, nor too bad and certainly not provocative) and she falls in love with the devil.

Goto: Chapter 8 - Deprivation

In which we meet a demon, who is not a demon, named Eudora.  She is beautiful which of course makes her a worthy character, but like in Death in Venice her teeth are flawed.  Are we to take that as a tragic character flaw and read it as having some literary depth? No.  It means nothing but that Eudora’s teeth are not perfect.  After all no one can be perfect.  Oh and they talk about arrows…and are quite loony.

Goto: Chapter 7 - Deprivation

In which Claudia and her mother fight and there are flowers, and there is excessive referencing to wild animals and flesh rending.  But is it really excessive? I really am not the best judge of that…and in fact I don’t really recall if there is a single reference to flesh rending.  You will have to tell me.

Goto: Chapter 6 - Deprivation

In Chapter five Claudia explores her prison and loses a shoe.  Or more accurately her shoe is lost when we find her again.  Either way it must be severely annoying to only have one shoe. I think that if I lost one shoe I’d just toss the other.  No point in having just one is there?  Maybe if it’s a really warm shoe and it’s really cold. You could do a rotation to keep from getting frost bite in either foot.  But it wouldn’t work and you’d get frost bite anyhow.

Goto: Chapter 5 - Deprivation

Chapter four is chapter four. No more, no less, and nothing in between.  Perhaps if I got more sleep or was a nicer person I would give a better summery.  Instead, rest assured that chapter four remains the fourth chapter in this depressing excuse for a storyline.  The things that happen in chapter four happen in chapter four and it’s all very cohesive really.
